Please Help me my male betta wont fertilize

PLEASE HELP ME MY FEMALE HAS EGGS AND IS LAYING THEM AND THE MALE BETTA JUS EATS THEM HE WONT FERTILIZE THEM AND HE ALSO WONT BUILD A NEST.??

did he embrace her? or is she jus laying the eggs? and if the male doesnt fertilize them there no point in keeping them so mite as well eat them.

they embraced about 3 times and she didnt drop any, then she just layed about 7 by herself and ate them then last night she layed about 30 by herself but she didnt eat them he did

mmmk did u do anything while they were embracing?? sometimes they dont lay any the first couple of times. but if she layed them herself theres no use crying over spilt milk. sorry u didnt get any fertilized eggs btw GL next time i guess.

good luck ^^ did u seperate them? or r they till at "it"? if it doesnt work out just reconditon them a week or 2 them try them out again
