It's Rhinogobius duospilus, often called Rhinogobius wui in the hobby. It's a subtropical freshwater/brackish water goby from China and Hong Kong. Maintenance is very simple; it is unfussy about water chemistry, and does well at room temperature or low-end tropical conditions (e.g., with Danios). Eats mostly small animals such as bloodworms. Maximum length is about 4 cm or so. Males develop distinctive white cheeks with oblique red stripes when in breeding condition. Nice little fish.

Cheers, Neale
