Please Help Id My Catfish

He's 12" of pure muscle!! lol and only been in my aquarium for about 2 hours and i haven't a clue what sort he is.

Any ideas?

which 1? if its the 1 on the flooor of the tank its a gibbicep which is gonna grow huge if its the 1 on the wood not sure but maybe a common plec? again will grow very big. hope you have got a very big tank with monster filtration as those are 2 big very messy fish

The common plec is to the left of it. The photo doesn't really show that he's grey or the big whiskas he has!!

the quality of the pic is fine but only catfish in it are on the left a gibbicep ( sailfin plec ) and vertical on the wood a common plec

Thanks for that folks. I was under the impression for ages, info from lfs, that the gibbicep was a common plec, and the new one was a catfish. Oh well! Here's another pic anyway of the beast. Have a fluval 404 running alongside a small internal filter, which will be upgraded this weekend to cope with them. Still doing twice weekly water changes to cope with the messy buggers anyway! lol
