I'm very new to the hobby and I have no idea what is going on. I had a 5 gallon bowl basically dedicated to a very large pothos. I ended up putting a few shrimp and some nerite snails in it and they did wonderfully. I added a filter and a heater because my house is normally in the 60's. After a good 6-7 months, my shrimp population doubled so I decided to upgrade them for being such good plant guys. I got a 10 gallon with nitrifying substrate, drift wood(i boiled and dipped in a hydrogen peroxide/water solution) and plants. I use the filter that I had in the bowl to "season" the new tank. After about 2 weeks and multiple water checks everything seemed fine. I went to a little mom and pop and grabbed some fancy guppies. They were great and playful and would mess around with the shrimp. Happy tank! I had 3 females and wanted to get a man for the ladies.. I went to Petco.. I know it was my first mistake. My second mistake is not quarantining them before putting them with the others. I got another female and a male. Everyone is still extremely active. Water looks great (tested it with my strip test and then brought my water to the mom and pop to get it tested) They said that it was a little hard but that was it. About 2 days after getting the new guys, one of the original females got a little white patch. I thought she had bumped into something or maybe the male was being a butthole because it looked like a bite or a scrape... until it spread. I Put her in a different hospital tank and observed for a couple days. The spot ended up getting bigger and it was kind of fluffy? I did a bunch of research on what it could be. Some people said fungus some people said bacteria. My once favorite mom and pop shop told me that it was all my fault and they cant help me... I saw something that said that methylene blue was a cure all. I dosed her by what it said on the bottle and added some aquarium salt. She sadly didn't make it. All of my other fish are very lively and active. No white marks. Eating well... I've been helicopter mom. The only thing I saw was Flashing. They keep bouncing off of plants and the substrate. I tried to research why they do this but I couldn't find anything that matched my situation. I hate losing animals.. how do i fix this? What is this?

There could be several causes what might cause these white or plain spots. The following causes could have been the problem: Tetrahymena pyriformis, saprolegnia (this can also result in balance problems), ichthyosporidium, costia, fungus or another bacterial infection.
But with the information you've given thusfar, I can't determine the correct one.

Are there any medicines that I could at least try? or tips? I just gave all of them a methylene blue and salt bath. It seems to be calming the fish down a little bit and also made them poop. One of them has whitish poop.

The first thing I would think is a secondary infection due to an external parasite.

If most of the fish don't have any sign of fungus or bacterial infection I would go with a protozoan treatment.

Copper based or Formalin - Malachite green. The flashing should recess after treatment.

I would also watch feces to find any suspect internal parasites.

And add in addition: Prazi and Metro. But I wouldn't recommend the last two without any proof of worms.

Do I treat the whole tank with this or do I give baths? I have shrimp and snails but if they are normally on everything Ill take them out

All these product are not friendly with invertebrates, maybe in exception Prazi. Treat the whole tank.

@MaloK has already given a nice number of options. But with the white waste, you should think of internal parasites or worms.

I re-read the op attentively once more, and I don't find any mention of white feces.

If they are only flashing at the moment. I would first start with an external parasite medication. like Ich-X or any other brand that contain formaldehyde and malachite green chloride.

Then if it doesn't work, step thing up to Paracleanse or PraziPro. if you suspect that there's fungus involved check maracyn.

It could be an early ich spreading and the spots can take 1-3 weeks to become apparent. Malachite Green is the first step for me in cases of fish that wants to roll or flash too much.

Look at this remark:
 I only re-read OP... oh, well... If it's the case... Without knowing the type of worms. Prazipro, paracleanse, Expel-P.

I would still wait to see if the white pooping persist after a couple meals of dark food. Before taking the decision to blast the tank with levamisole and praziquantel to make sure targeting both flat and round worms at the same time.
