Please Have A Look At This Pic!

my long fin plec has some rough whiteish looking patches on the end of his dorsal and tail fin. it doesn't seem to be fin rot as the tank is very clean and healthy and he is fine. there are stones and a piece of driftwood in the tank. do you think this could just be him rubbing on these objects or is this a problem??? any suggestions? thanks

its normal colouration...

Look at pictures of normal bristle noses and you'll see the white/yellow tips to the tail and top fin... now imagine those stretched across the long fins.

I would agree with smithrc, it looks like natural coloring to me too .
