My missus noticed about 10 days ago that our male Platy had some wart-like huge lumps on his face and right side but I didn't absorb what she told me until I saw them myself yesterday
He has had pine-coning for several months now but is the healthiest and liveliest fish I have and has outlived 3 female partners in the past 9 months or so.
I don't think the pine-coning is dropsy because there is no bloating and I really would like a final positive solution to this also.
These new huge red bumps are a bit worrying because I don't know if they are tumours or parasites or what so please someone try help me out here.
I have a 120 litre tank with about 100 litres and some plants as well.
I have 3 female platy and one male...the lumps are on him.
I have 2 female guppy and the male died last week after basically standing on his tail upright for over 24 hours breathing heavy.
I know its a bad mix but I have a Black Moor Goldfish that has been in the tank from the beginning...it has some small whit spots on its fins I noticed earlier this evening.
I also have a Pleco.
I changed my filter to an Eheim external canister on 23 April and left the internal one in the tank for about 4 weeks before removing it. I added the filter media from the internal to the external when I removed it.
One female platy was hiding away for ages and had been harassed heavily by the male..she lost a lot of weight and was swimming strangely when she did come out.
I treated the tank for swimbladder and added some plants and she improved but was still stressed by the male.
Her fins were clamped as well so I treated the tank for 6 days with Melafix ans she seems to be improving except for the harassment by the malew.
Despite eating, when the male allows her, she is still quite thin and I wondered if she might have internal parasites.
Someone else also said that the bumps on the male may be from parasites also.
The Youtube video shows all the fish except her as far as I can see..she is a silver Platy.
24 hours ago I tested the water.
PH= 7.4
Ammonia= 0 – 0.25
Colour is hard to make out as I always get this same reading
 it is safe according to my local aquarium shop.
Nitrate= 10-20
Nitrite= 0
Changed 20% water.
I changed about 20% water today again and tested the water.
PH= 7.8
Ammonia= 0 – 0.25
Nitrate= 10-20
Nitrite= 0

I have segregated the male platy because the silver female was too stressed and since I isolated him she is more lively and starting to eat and put some weight on.

Looking forward to some answers.

I am amazed that nobody has replied with some advice because this cant be an isolated illness that nobody has heard of.

Can't personally help with your fish lumps, denismen, but I think that Meeresstille's link to the disease ID looks very good at first reading.
