Platy preggo

Since I have some bullies in the tank (like to eat baby fish) I have put my little preggo platy in a breeder. She is soooooo mad at me. I have never done this to her before, and I am afraid that she has aborted. She is still fat, but I really thought she would have had the babies by now. How can I tell if she has aborted?

Dont worry. I have done the exact same thing as you many times before. I found that it could be up to an additional 2weeks before birth. Just hang tight and they will come!

lol, no problem. BUt ya, hang in there, it can take a LONG TIME for the fry to come. It is impossible, but just forget about the fry and dont bother checking anymore (otherwise the wait will kill you) lol

I am sure she's quite happy to be outta that nursery.........except daddy is quite happy to see her again, if ya know what I mean.......
