I bought two red platys yesterday. They were active throughout the night and this morning. Then I left the room for about 15 minutes, and one of the platys is lying on the gravel underneath some plants. It's not dead but it's barely breathing, and didnt move when the other platy swam over her. I'm going to do a 20% water change, but what else (if anything) can i do? here are the water parameters (they are very similar to what the platys lived in at the pet store):
pH 6.4 ppm
ammonia, nitrite, nitrate all 0 ppm
KH & GH both 3-4 degrees dKH/dGH
Both platys look fine, but one of them (i think the dying one) had red feces, and the active one has almost black feces. Please help!
