I don't have any current pictures but I put a male in with her at least two months ago and I havn't seen any sign of her being pregnant. They live in my large community tank so it's possible that if she had had fry I wouldn't find them (Like I've only ever found one guppy fry) But she doesn't even look gravid. The male is smaller than her, though both are not full grown, but that shouldn't affect things any should it? So any ideas of how I can help things along?

Platies will breed if given the chance. That is not to say that you will ever find fry in a heavily populated tank. I have a whole series of pictures posted here, and even pinned, that shows a female molly on the day she drops fry and follows her until her next fry drop 6 weeks later. It is intended to show how a fish progresses from a drop to the next and what shapes to look for in the female. What it does not say is that I had that same female in my 120 gallon community tank for at least 6 months before starting the picture sequence and never saw any sign that she might have dropped fry. Once she was isolated to a 10 gallon drop tank, her progress toward a drop was obvious and I started actually taking pictures after she dropped her fry in week 3 of being in that tank. If you are serious about wanting to raise fry, you must isolate the female and let her drop her fry in peace. No female will willingly give way her status when her fry have no chance of surviving.
