platy hiding resting and getting chased

This morning I found my smallest male tri color platy getting chased by the larger males, and resting and nestling into places to hide. So I took it out and put it in with my lemon tetras who seem to be leaving it alone, but no it's lying on the bottom in there and nestling up in the gravel and all the other crap thats down there. Occasionaly he'll move around a bit and peck at things he seems to want to eat, but mostly he just lies around down there. What is going on here? Is he going to pass on?

well, at least you have plenty of females so thats not the problem with the chasing part. he's probably just really stressed and freaked out right now. give him some time, maybe a day or so and see how he is.
