Platy Breeding

My male comet has been chasing my female for three weeks now!!!!
She has no gravid spots and is always running away

I have three other sunsets (female) in the tank but the male comet doesnt seem to like them


I want my platies to breed!!!
What should I do? Feed less? Raise temperature? Just wait?
Plz help

just give it time......i didn't know my girl was pregnant then i got lot's of babies. the male had no interest in her at all until after her first drop then i think he knew what to do......a livebearer will breed........u could get another male and that might give both of them incentive........good luck

just give it time. some Platties are more... enthusiastic then others. Firefly won't go near any of the girls (though i suspect he's overbred or a late-bloomer, his gonopodium is huge!) while Zane constantly chases Polly everywhere, but bites Baby Kiss (who likes him) when she gets to close.
