I'm not sure if this is normal platy behaviour, as I only got them 3 days ago... They are both female hifin platys.

Quite a lot of the time they will swim around the tank quite slowly in the bottom region, picking at the bogwood, sand and glass.
However sometimes they just hang in one place for a few minutes, just hovering. They don't really venture up into the higher parts of the tank, so when I feed them they don't notice the food on the water surface... but will notice it when it starts to sink. They do eat it when it starts dropping though.
They quite like hiding in the back corner of the tank where the filter is (they stay underneath it).

I've checked the water and ammonia + nitrIte is 0, and there is a trace of nitrAte.

Maybe they are still settling into the tank and are slightly stressed? Maybe it's because there's no other fish in the tank?

I've got no idea!

EDIT: It's ok, Def says they are fine! Sorry!!
