Hi :kana:
Amongst my other fish,i have 2 blue dwarf gouramis (male) and 2 balloon platties (1 male 1female)
Up until a few days ago,all the fish seemed to be getting on really well, then all hell broke loose :(
The male platty has been attacking the smallest of the gouramis.
He chases him around the tank and when he has cornered him, launches a really nasty attack.(nudging, biting and performing a strange "dance" sort of a side to side motion with all fins raised)
The gourami does its best to escape, but is chased all over the tank and seems to be very nervous and withdrawn now, hardly feeding at all. :dunno:
Ive now quarantined the platty on its own cuz i find it heartbreaking to watch these frenzied attacks on such a peacefull gourami.
P.S. Ive also noticed some little yellow patches appearing on the platties flanks(not sure if this has anything to do with its nasty behaviour)
I would appreciate any help as the other platty is now all alone.
