Platinum Angel Help

Hey.
 
I bought a group of 5 platinum angels a couple of months ago and one had a torn ventral fin (the bottom one dont know if thats right lol) and i was told that it wouldn't grow back. Here is a picture of it when i got them:

 
Now.. i have noticed what i think is it growing back, here's a couple of pictures as i want to make sure, it would be good if it is the fin growing back as he is the most colourful (shows the most blue) its only a little stumpy thing but is that a good sign?

That's actually the anal fin. The pelvics would be the two on the chest. Anyway, it looks pretty damaged, it may grow back some, but will never grow back completely. If you intend to breed them, then a chewed of fin won't affect how the offspring look.

Ahh thanks for correcting me lol.
yeah it was like that when I got it so I'm only assuming it got damaged when being tansported around some when. Well atleast it will grow a bit, yeah I was planning on getting a pair and getting rid of the rest as my tank is only big enough for a a pair
