plastic tank

i have seen a 15litre plastic tank for sale at index it comes with an air pump, undergravel filter, plant, food, gravel and a lighted hood, do you think it would be ok to add a thermostat or would it melt any ideas i only want it for the fry

I seriously doubt it would melt at the temperatures you will be keeping it or it would be just as likely to melt in a warm room!

i just mean if the heater touched the sides, i bet you think im thick but its better to ask than to be wondering, thankyou

I dont think it would melt the tank because it wont be touching the plastic, it will be held in place with rubber suckers (and they dont melt). If it was likely to melt the tank on contact just think what would happen to your fish if they touched it or came too close!
