plastic plants

hey i just got a new plastic plant think ing it would be like the rest i had, rinse in warm water then put it in the tank but no...

this one has a very strong plastic smell to it, im wondering if its not safe to put it in the tank, what do you guys think?

It shouldn't have ANY smell to it. Maybe it needs to be soaked and aired out for a few days. If it still has any odor, discard it from aquarium use.

ok thanks for the advice, but its wierd because it is brand new, and meant for aquarium useage
