Plants With Snails

Hi,

If this is in the wrong place then I'm sorry but if I have plants from a tank that contained snails and I want the plants in my new tank how do I make sure that the plants do not have snails or eggs on them before I put them in my new tank?

What's the best way of cleaning the plants to rid them of the snails/eggs?

Rinse them in a solution of Interpet 11 'Snail Away' treatment before putting them in your tank to kill any inhabitants and destroy any eggs that are present.

Thanks, but is there no other way such as hot water or bleach or anything like that?

In my many searches on this forum, I've seen a bleach solution mentioned several times. I think it was 1/19 solution and a 2-4 minute soak, depending on how courageous you were and what sort of plant it was. Probably a good search of this forum will give you more than one solution to use.
