hi,

i have a lot of plants in my fish tank and today i realised how bad my algea problem has got the algea has covered my plants and the plants r real ones so i dont want to do incase i damage them how can i clean the plants and stop this from occuring?????????

Is it beard algae? Its dark and trailing off the plants.
Check your nitrate levels arent too high as well. How long are the lights on for.

yes it is beard algea and i dont usually check my nitrite levals becoz i am only 12 and i dont really no wat any of it is to be onest with you

Do more water changes and get the gravel vac in amongst the plants to clean thoroughly. Keep the lighting to about 8 hours a day.
I'm not an algae expert so maybe ask in the planted section for more help if you get no more replies here. Tell them everything about your set up including the types of fish and hopefully they will help you.
Is your tank heated as a siamese algae eater love that type of algae.
