This is my first post on the mane forum here, so hello all.

Just recently I've started setting up a set of small pot ponds in a wildlife area of the garden to help encourage more wildlife (I'm planning a bigger set some time in the future so started these as a trial).

There is one deeper bucket for submerged plants (about 30cm deep and 30cm wide), one shallower bucket for plants that will grow out of the water (20cm deep and 25cm wide) and a shallow tub for bog plants (10cm deep and 25cm wide).

At the moment I’ve just got a few odd plants that I had around, some Hornwort and Parrot feather (that I’ve got growing in a water butt) in the deeper pots and some water mint and Ragged Robin in the bog pot but (apart from the Ragged Robin) they are rather invasive. So I’ve started looking around for some more suitable and preferably native British plants. I found some good looking ones on a website I saw mentioned on this forum http://www.bromfieldaquatics.co.uk/store/e...l#1x0&& But when it says “Ideal for small pools, tubs and sinksâ€￾ I’m not shore what they mean, will I only be able to have one plant per tub or two in my little pots? Or could I have more?

So my questions are, dues anyone have any suggestions of native plants that I could keep in my tubs without them taking over? How many plants could I have per pot? And any tips on maintenance would be welcome as well.

Thanks in advance :) .
