Hey,
We've just this morning made a new pond for our 2 little koi (digging kindly done by our neighbours JCB ) and its looking a little bare. So far we have 1 water lily and some bunches of oxygenating plants (not labelled at garden centre!) and some water hyacinth (i think!!) but as the pond is fairly big it needs a lot more plants.
So, the pond is 8ft long, 5 ft wide and 3ft deep. We really want some plants that could go into the bottom and grow up through it, if that makes any sense Can anyone suggest any plants that are easily available that would brighten up the pond a bit?!
Oooh, and the koi had just come out of a 4ft x 3ftx 2ft pond so are loving their new home!
Thanks!
