Planting Cryptocoryne Lingua

Hi all.

I got a few Crypt Lingua a couple of weeks ago, and planted them in my tank, burying the roots and the "bulb" at the base of them. However, I've just decided to swap some of the other Crypts around and in the process dislodged a couple of the Lingua. As I was about to replant them, I noticed that to small cluster of roots they had are/have rotted away. Is this normal? Or have I planted them incorrectly?

Yeh sounds normal, just replant it
