Does anyone know which of these fish is the likely culprit in my tank to be pulling up my plants. I seem to wake up every other morning and have to replant 2 or 3 plants, and I've got no idea who's doing it!!

Tinfoil Barb (not full grown, about 4 inches)
tiger barbs
common Plec
Royal Plec
Clown Loaches
Platies

Also, is there anything I can do to stop them?? It's not a major problem, just a pain having to replant them all the time!!! :/

Maybe it's a pleco. Mine thrash around all the time and they are a nocturnal fish, so it would make sense that they are disturbed at night.

Hi, I would say its the Plecs, mainly because they are very clumsy fish and tend to knock over anything and everything that gets in their way and they tend to be more active at night, seems thats when its getting done?

sounds about right. Thats what I thought, just wanted to see if anyone knew if any of the others were known to rip plants up!!!
Thanks

I don't have any plecs but I had 6 tiger barbs and the same issue in my 10g tank. The only other fish in there is a red-fin shark. I would say it's probably the TB's. Just my experiance though. You have a more varied tank.
