Java Fern is the obvious choice, but a good choice indeed. Attractive and relatively easy to grow.

James.

anubias is also a good choice, they look lovely and i believe there are a few to choose from.

You could also try Java Moss? It's just like a carpet covering sort of plant, so stays small.

James.

i was also wondering i got sum
plants from a pet shop and they came
in small pots , i was wondering if
they are best left in the pots or spred-out
to help the roots ?
hears sum pics of the plant in question

You will need to tie down. I find fishing line is best because it's strong and you can't see it. You can eventually remove the line once the plant attaches itself to the wood.

As for the pots, people say you should remove them so it does not damage or restrict the roots. But you will deepish substrate to weigh the plants down as they will float once out of the pots

James.

thanks james
think java moss is the one im going to try
on the wood at the back of the tank and
java fern for the peace at the front
so hears hopeing all go`s to plan :)
i will post pics as soon as i get my plants in
