So some of my plants seem to be doing quite well - I have a crypt that I depotted and it seems fairly happy (leaves a bit brownish but I believe that's normal, it looks happy otherwise). I have some that were sold to me as a Brazil Sword (Spathiphyllum) that aren't faring so well though. I have read plenty of people saying they're not true acquatics and will eventually die?

Never kept plants before, but they look so much better even than silk plants I'm converted!

Spathiphyllum examples (bought these at the pet store, everything I buy from the pet store whether fish or plants dies - never again!!)

This one seems to still be quite healthy.. is it doomed as well?

Cryptocoryne wendtii on the left, can anyone ID the ones on the right? (I guess I could go back to the fish shop..)

Java fern, relegated to the back corner as I find it too dense for my liking.

The one on the right of the Crypts is a sword, most likely Amazon sword, although the leaves are growing in a slightly too narrow way for what I'd expect.. so could be something else.

the first one indeed is a Spathiphyllum and won't grow submerged.
