Hello!

I have just set up a planted tank yesterday (November 8th) I have noticed today that the leaves on some of the plants are turning brown. I used a CO2 booster and have lighting. Just wondering if this is normal?? What else should I be doing other than adding CO2 to help the plants be healthy? Any info would be greatly appreciated :)
thnaks!

If adding CO2 you'll need a full range of ferts containing N&P (Nitrate and Phosphate), what lighting do you have as if its low enough you might be ok without CO2? Also what plants? The browning also happens if the plants are changing from immersed to submerged growth.

Hello.
Two of the plants are Dwarf Hairgrass and Amazon sword. I can't remember the names of the other two plants. The light is 15watt. I should mention the tank is 46gal.

That is extremely low lighting you have there, might be worth upping that a little and adding some fertilizers and knocking the CO2 boost on the head.

Iron is normally yellowing leaf tips.
