I bought form lfs i think it's some kind sword?
and how do I take cutting as it is grow out the top of the tank

looks like draconia(sp) and they are not aquatic

It is dracaena, it's not an aquatic plant. It will live for months underwater but will eventually die and rot, making a huge mess... It might survive with its top poking out the water though.

It Is meant to thrive out the water with roots in the water, but if there is a fair bit out the water it might just do well.
Do some research on google.

I tried one once and it died after about 6 months.

Window ledge or just it's roots in the tank - No leaves. IMO
