ok thanks, yea i was really suprised how nice they looked the crypt are nice big helthy specimens for only $3.90 for any potted plant

Excellent. One question though, in the pic that sword looks shiny, suggesting it has a waxi cuticle. If it has then it may well have been grown emersed. Not that big a problem if it has, just means that you will lose some leaves and new ones will grow as it changes to it's immersed form.

ohh i never thought of that i dont know how they grow them but on they get thier plants from florda plant nursaries or something like that... but it might just be shiney cuz it just came out of the water for the picture.

its hard for me to ID the plant, but id just like to say i bought a nice cryptocoryne and micro swords from wal-mart. besides the snail problem the plants are beautiful and you cant beat that price!

also wal-mart has great priced aquarium components such as heaters, filters, etc.

the fish id be worried about, but weve all heard the phrase "dont buy fish from wal-mart"

ohh yeah they had a nice selection accually i was really suprised ( i would never buy fish though) but yeah 3 nice big crypt wendtii that sword were all i got from there so far. I did see some micro sword but it was pretty bad off so i passed and ill just try to get some after a new shipment or something. How ever it took 2 people to get the plants and they were not the brightest stars in the sky, let me just say at first the woman tried to use a net untill i told her not too...

We don't have Wal-Mart over here, we have Asda (owned by Wal-Mart) who definitely don't sell fish or plants. lol. I actually like plants that have a few snails on them as I can always remove the snails myself, whereas if they have been treated with copper the residues can cause me problems if with extensive rinsing, all of my tanks have shrimp in them you see.

yeah i dont mind the snails either, it gives me a few hours of crazy clown loaches :shout: but if that store is owned by walmart im sure u could imagine how the fish/plant care would be...
