Fish Addict
Okay, I'm getting ready to start (fishless) cycling my 20-gallon (long) tank. I really wanted to get some new/different fish for it, but after thinking about it, I've decided I'm going to move my platies into it. So here's the plan:
Move my 2 red wag tail platies and 3 oto's into it (from my 6 gallon tank)
When the 11 platy fry are big enough that they won't be eaten, move them into the 20 gallon as well (because they seem so overcrowded in the 5.5 gallon, I don't want to stunt their growth).
Once the platy fry are big enough, I'm going to give most of them away, though I may keep 1 or 2 of them.
The other fish I was *thinking* about adding at some point (tell me if these will mix okay with 3 or 4 platies and 3 otos) are some cory catfish and some tetra's (neon or cardnial). I think cory catfish are SO adorable, and I'd like to have a fish that will school like the tetra's.
Any thoughts??
