Planning for Daisy's 2nd litter

We are breeding Daisy again. This will be her second litter. She had two healthy boys the first time. She is a wonderful mother. If she gets pregnant this month the pups, (baby guinea pigs are called pups), will be born early to middle July. But she has been housed with Harry for about a month now and she could have already have gotten pregnant. That means that they could be in June. She gained alot of weight lately, but I think that was due to me trying to get Harry’s weight up by putting bananas in the cage.

I am so jealous!

I used to breed guinea pigs; I had one boy and two girls. We stopped when I fell pregnant with first child due to time constraints.

They are wonderful to breed and it is so exciting waiting to see how many, what colours etc.

One of our girls always had four; 3 boys and a girl every time!

Please, please put on pics if she has some more soon, I just think they are the cutest babies!

I wish I could put pictures on, but I am having a problem uploading them. I use yahoo to do that. I've tried photobucket. It doesn't work at all. Only half the time it will upload photos and when it does it takes forever. I'll try again.

Okay, got it to work. Here's the link. This is of Harry and Daisy. Daisy is the grey and white one. Harry is the black and white one. I think Daisy looks like a girl even by just looking at her, but that's just me.
