And he is actually green but looks purple without the flash which is even stranger!!!

how do you tell you havent got a plakat instead of a crowntail female! one of my females looks just like that

Lozzles, a female CT will have an egg spot first of all, compared to a Plakat boy ... and, a CT female as compared to a PK female has much more defined rays and a less pointy anal fin.

Go to http/www.aquabid.com or PM styx she has some nice female bettas and I believe she has plakats.
