plakats vs rocks

i decided to switch around which 'tanks' all my male bettas were in..

this male plakat used to live in a vase...

and i decided to trade him and my opaque male..

so now he lives in a 1g kritter keeper with pink rocks on the bottom..

right when i put him in..

he spazzed at the rocks..

attacking them like crazy.. just thought it was interesting..

hes never seen rocks before and i guess he didnt like them..

anyone else had similar experiences?

i dont think it was that they were rocks, but that they were bright pink, anythink in a bright fruity color will wrile up a beta

theyre not really bright pink..
more of a hideous nasty purpley pink puke color..

anyways..

hes stopped doing it.. he jus attacks the side of the tank cause he now can see one of my yellow males

Not rocks, but the other day I set the remote to the TV on top of the entertainment center, and Nova got huge! All flared up and tough...I'm thinking it was the number 8 button that ticked him off, but I'll never know for sure.....
