Placing order for a white CT w/ spawn sister

I've been looking for these around pet shops but all they get are veiltails.

I checked out aqaubid and bcbettas and finally, for a "decent" price, i found a pair at bcbettas.com

I hope I can order them as I would like to start breeding them. I have a 50 gallon growout tank and I just bought a 5 gallon spawning tank for them this evening. I set everything up and all looks good!

I'll keep the female in my community tank and my male in his own bowl for a few weeks and then attempt to breed them. I have enough time on my hands and I enjoy doing this alot.

Now I just have to figure where I'll put all the jars until I sell them...

Congrats on the upcoming fish I would suggest getting the female a seperate tank for conditioning unless she's going in a female betta community. It can be hard to fatten them up when they aren't alone

The best is saperate the female in a 1 gallon tank. Feed her good yummy too. Makesure you let her see the male next to each other for at least a week. Let them get use to each other. Want more tips? LOL

my 20 gallon has 5 females right now and 2 rams
the bettas get their load of worms when i drop them in!
I do have 2 spare bowls but i need heaters for them as it is too cold in my house to keep bettas alive

And the heaters are 20$ each for these bowls!
Maybe I should pick up a couple more because 25W heaters don't come up quite often around here!
