Places to buy nice bettas

My birthday is coming up in March, and i am already planning on what I want. One thing that I know that I want apart from shellies is a fancey betta. A nice blue one. I saw a CT the other day at some Thai stand in a mall, but didnt buy it as i wasnt near home and still had to eat dinner. I dont want to have my parents spend that much on the fish, because to them it is just a betta, and they definetly wont pay loads for shipping. I dont even know if they would get it for me, just hoping. I did tell my mom and she didnt say no. Which is always a good thing. I am looking in the New England area, basically Connecticut because I dont want them to pay much shipping. I know loads of you buy stuff online, so id love to hear about your experiance with the sites and price and quality of the fish you bought.

BCbettas always have lovely lookin fish, never used them cos i'm in the uk.

If you buy offline look to pay anywhere from $24 to $35 for shipping alone, plus the cost of the fish.

This is because it is cold, and you have to do Over Night (Priority in the warmer months usually runs around $10-15).

www.aquabid.com and www/bcbetta.com both have some wonderful fish, bcbetta will have some for lower prices that aren't "breeding quality" but that come from exceptional lines. Both are worth the money, if you are willing to spend it.

Otherwise you might wanna hit the mall with the Thai shop up again.
