Pj Cadinal And Banghai Cardinal

Hi guys just a quick question, I currently have a Banghai Cardinal in my 45G tank which has been in there for several months and now I was hoping to also get a Pajama Cardinal.

What are your thoughts on this? I have read several articles on the 2 and opinions seem to vary as some say cardinal can be kept in shoals and others say they can get territorial with their own kind???

Can you please help by posting your thoughts and comments... I would be especially keen to hear from anyonme who has mixed the 2 in the same tank and how they got on.

Ideally you should only keep a pair of cardinalfish in most tanks, very large tanks can accomodate larger groups. Mixing two different species would not be a very good idea as Bangaii's can be a little boisterous.

Well im not looking to keep a big group, just 1 of each?

My current Banghai Cardinal seems very placid and docile...

Your Bangaii may seem very placid at the moment, but if you add another cardinalfish of another species, he could turn into a little terror.
