They're starting to get the red.

How big is that one in the front that's turning red? about 4"?

No way man!!! He had red when he was 1" He is about 2.5" now....that is only a 10g they are in..... I will eventually have to give them one of my 33's I guess.....which of course means more tanks for me!!! I have already passed 3 more 90's with the lil' lady!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Amazing red coloration on a 1". I have very rarely seen that at that size. I figured with the spots being so dark that it was small, but not that small.

Looks really good man.

What do you feed them?

And I agree...how the heck do you get her to agree with so many tanks??? I have a feeling in the future I won't have a hard time either about that.

Feed them some krill also. Really helps darken them up.

Wow Mike! Awesome, as usual. It seems SO weird to see these guys in a tank! We took our honeymoon in the Amazon Jungle and actually fished for these guys right out of the amazon river and ate them. )

Pretty tasty...sorry, don't be offended, just thought you will probably not ever try one. Boney fish and actually tastes something like chicken! Go figure....

Anyway, much nicer to see them on such lovely display...

Hey Mike,
Is that penny in your tank or stuck in the stand? I have head that a few pennies IN THE TANK will ward off ICH.. I tried it and it didn't work. Smelled bad too.
Nice Fish...............My hubby puts up with me and my obsession with fish. Takes me to the fish stores EVERY WEEK on our day off. I put up with some of his obsessions too!!! This fish thing is catching on to him though............he loves it. He used to say I was going to lose interest after awhile and that it would be too much work, he said he wasn;t going to help me, etc. Funny how he always appears when I am doing water changes and says...here, let me help you with "our Guys". hahahahah he will also say the night before our day off."are we doing the fish water in the am or pm tomorrow?" What a great guy. I knew he'd catch on......................and he LOVES THEM TOO. I did notice that the all time big fisherman didn't do too much fishing this past summer. Wonder if it has anything to do with us having fish as pets now.
