Hey, just an idea, might not go, i dont know, figured it couldnt hurt to see what people think... maybe make a pin in this section listing some of the rejections and a very brief explanation why, just so if somebody has an idea for something, just say general chat, or best picture, etc.. they can check it and see if it has already been suggested.. a couple of them come up over and over again, and most likely still will, but for some that arent as common as just say general chat, people arent going to search topics and old posts to see if it has been done already.. takes time.. this way they can either check before they post, or be pointed in the direction of the post as an answer.

might not help, but might save a few posts about things that were previously denied already.

ideas? thoughts?

I honestly think this is a good idea, except people tend to skip right over the pinned topics.

XOTM comps haven't been brought up in quite some time, these things seem to go in phases. If it helps to eliminate what some may perceive as harsh banter I'm for it.

Agree, it would be pointless due to peoples ignorance and laziness.

For example, look how many people want to know how to breed bettas, yet there is a full section and great threads on it, yet it still gets asked over and over...

Same in the livebearer section, i did a thread that got pinned about how to know if your livebearers pregnant, with more or less every possible explanation and pics to go with it, yet loads still ask the question rather than read the PINNED thread.

I agree that in theory it's a good idea but as mentioned, few people read pinned topics. There's one already there as to why we don't have general chat yet we still seem to get a thread every couple weeks about it.
