It would be useful if somewhere we could have a pinned links page for purchasing fish related goods,

I realise commenting or grading them is disapproved, but a simple list of web addresses under certain headings such as fish, plants, tanks, accessories etc would be quite helpful to all IMO

think its a good idea but list could be never ending. so think it is just easier for people to ask and get people to answer

A list is all well and good but I could go get a list from a google search and still be none the wiser.
Often people want a recommendation or a suggestion from someone who has already bought from that person/place and had a good experience.

Also, who would keep the list up to date? Remove people/places that no longer sell, add new ones?
If no-one then how long would the post get before people gave up reading it (because it was too long) and just asked anyway?
There's a post about mature filter media donators and I found it wasn't as "up to date" as could be, that there is a lot of trawling through to do.

While the idea is good "lists" need to be the responsibility of someone (not neccessarily a mod or whatever) who can keep the first post current.

I wasn't referring to a list of every tom, dick and harry who sold stuff, just a list of the top 5-10 widely used websites by TFF members from each category i listed above.

the same could be said about the store directories, some info is false and/or outdated but Some is still useful
