Pink Screen

can anyone tell me why me screen has gone pink?

I have not
Downloaded anything recently
Changed any system parameters
Added any programs

I've have
Degaused
Restored
Re-booted &
run out of ideas

do you think my moniter is up the swanny?

My guess would be your monitor is on the fritz, especially since it wasn't fixed by doing a system restore.

Though the screen could also be showing its feminine side as well

I would check to see if the monitor cable is loose. BTW, what OS are you using?

still pink and driving me crazy!

This is the only webpage that I could find for you. If that doesn't work, hopefully you have buttons on your monitor to adjust the RGB.

ok i've tried the suggestion in the link, nothing

no magnets been near it.

I'm sure that it is the excuse I've been looking for to get one of those flat screens

I remember when my mum & dads tv was on it way out a few years ago it started to go pink.

It was very strange watching things like football being played on a pink pitch.

ok I found the problem
one of the pins in the connector was bent
I've straightened it as best I could
no more pink screen
but now a slight wobble on the screen, this I can live with for now.

Don't look at Dabs.co.uk then (and a zillion other sites like that) were can you pick up TFT's these days cheap as chips
