I saw a pink colored danio today at the LFS. When I say pink, I mean pink, almost like cotton candy. I was researching and really couldnt find anything on it.

I saw this:

But thats not it. Anyone else seen or heard of these? They called them Glolite Danios. I know they arent tetras because they look exactly like and act just like Zebra Danios, except pink.

I have 6 of them in my 30 g tank. They are my first ever danio and lets just say that i underestimated their super hyper-active dithering. They school with my 5 brilliant rasboras who are close in size next to them. Flourescent fish is also what they are called, b/c of the awesome pink that they radiate when hit with a flourescent bulb. Amazing to see how much of a difference the light can make with this kind of fish.

Thats the fish I saw. I thought they werent interesting, never had seen them before. They were kinda expensive tho, almost 4 times the price of a normal zebra Danio

If you want pink danios, pearl danios come in a pale metallic pink and are very beautiful energetic fish and aern't wallet bustingly expensive or hard to come by or anything- if your lfs isn't currently stocking them just ask them too and they should be able to get some for you if they are any good :) .
