Pink Convicts.....

Indeed, the same species as normal convict's, just line bred for colour.

As in picking the most 'pink' of each batch of fry and breeding them with each other, repeating the process for many generations until they are pure pink. Or by luck, a freak pink offspring, then breeding the pinks found together.

Are they a result of cross breeding or a completely seperate strain ??
if you mean the ones i sent you they are definately not inbred as the father was one my friend bred just over a year ago and the female was bought about six month ago from somewhere completely different so you can rest assured they aren't inbred they do look really nice though hope they are all still ok anyway

How can you be positive they aren't inbred? Somewhere down the line it may of happened? Unless you got them from the wild? Or the parent were wild etc. and none of the parents related down the generations?
