On the front and on the back of the glass on my invert/reef system. Are loads of little things wiggling on the glass, definetly alive. Look kinda like pink heads with a white round body.. with tenticles etc....

Now me sea apples spawned, and me female Boxer shrimp was carrying young, but seems to many to be of any of them...... Are they likely to be tank pests?? i have a uv sterilizer and all te essential stuff.. but have no idea where these have came from, they don`t look friendly, but cud be baby spawn? but only have the sea apples that i know off that have spawned, and the boxer shrip, the rest are soft/hard corels.. Can`t get a pic of them ,as they are sooooo small... any help pls?? thx

Hmmm without a piccy its hard to be sure but usually small little critters in a tank and on the glass are Amphipods or Copopods. If they are then they are completely safe and are a good sign that the tank is healthy etc.

But to be honest, without a piccy its hard to pinpoint.

they are so tiny, hard to get a decent pic, i`ll try though.. hopefully they`re a sign of a healthy tank..bout time if it is..lol

When we had a crayfish, we had this problem - I'm not sure if you could have it in a reef tank, though. They came off the plants or snails or something, I can't quite remember what they were called or what they came from.

Will try and remember for you, though! They are harmless but quite a nuisance.
