I have a eclipse 12 gal tank and I didnt take out the carbon filter, will this have a major effect on the Pimafix?

P pnyklr3 Fish Addict Joined Sep 5, 2004 Messages 921 Reaction score 1 Location Rockford, Illinois Sep 30, 2004 #2 Melafix will work better. You can also use them at the same time in combination. You must take out the carbon, though, when you medicate your tank. Meds won't work if you leave it in.
