Ive fallen in love with these catfish.
my tank is 260ltrs and 3yrs old running 2 filters and has fine pea gravel, other tank mates would be my clowns an L204 pleco and thinking of some rainbow fish. my question is will they be ok on the small pea gravel that is already in my tank? pictures on this forum in the fish index have them with both sand and gravel, but my shop said sand only.

sand is better for them but any gravel that isn't sharp will be fine. The bigger gravel is more likely to trap food and cause water quality issues. Sand can become black and anaerobic.

mines like very small all rounded gravel so should be fine.
