Pike Cichlids

Im thinking of getting a species of pike cichlid. Could anyone advise me on what species to keep (My tank is 215L about (45 gallons?), what to feed it, what conditions to house it in, potenial tankmates and any other useful info?

Crenicichla Regani
Crenicichla Notophthalmus
Crenicichla Urosema

Any of the above species could be kept in a tank of your size i believe. The other species will get far too big. Try feeding them on a meat based diet such as the frozen live food. They would probably be ok eating flakes and pellets too, especially if they're tank bred rather than wild caught ones.

I can see why you want to keep them, they're very nice looking fish. Becareful though as they can be very aggressive so just keep an eye on them with other fish and even their own.
