here's a picture of my littlest fish - my corydoras pygmaeus - have 6 in the tank - started with 4 and when they bred a couple managed to survive. :D - sue

Hey, your fish has a head at each end! :lol: Seriously though, they're lovely, cute little fishies. Wish I could find some...

that's awesome, I am going to get a couple of pygmy cories for my 5 galloN!!

It just finished cycling....only took 12 days with BIO-Spira.
 
thanks guys - they are such cool little fish. :D Only problems I ever had with them was when the tank was new - mine seemed to need a well established tank with no ammonia/nitrite and are not happy if the nitrate gets too high. My tanks are all well planted and the pygmies spend a lot of time sitting up on the plant leaves rather than on the floor of the tank :cool: - sue
 
they are really tiny - my females are about 2/3inch long and the males a bit less than 1/2inch - they are really only happy when they live in a group though - it was ok when there was 4 but now there's 6 they are active all the time. They also seem to like plants and stones to perch on rather than the stones on the bottom of the tank - sue :D
