I'ved been watching these fellors at work for a bit and i think there very lovely curious guys and wouldn't mid having some of my own!

Just wondering if they wil be save with plecs as my tank when i'm sorted should be crawling with them!!

my other tanks wants will include some cories and ruby shark.

not too sure what i'm doing with the upper level yets maybe gourami.

they would be with the stock of my 25 gallon although my community will soon be in a 63gallon/280l.

also what else are they commpatiby with?

Pictus are fine with anything that will tolerate their constant activity (no gouramis) and do not fit in their mouths (no neons).

Aside from that, they are great looking, hardy, interesting catfish.

They will be perfectly fine with plecs...They shouldn't be with anything smaller than 3" once they get to full size....They perfer to be in groups of atleast 3 and should have plenty of cover as they are nocturnal...They require a carnivorous diet which should include sinking carnivore pellets, frozen and live blood-worm,mosquito larve and maybe ocassionally some small fish. I breed convict fry and they love them. Hope i helped.

hmmm not gourami's........urm what over larger fish could go in with them?

i notice you have tiger barbs but they rule out alot of other fish!!
