Pictus catfish

Hey...

I've been feeding my pictus cats Wardleys Shrimp pellets and Hakari sinking wafers for cat fish and bloodworms once a week and was wondering what other kind of meats/foods i could feed them..

When you say Hikari sinking wafers do you mean the green tablets with a picture of a corydoras on the packet? If so those are no good for pictus catfish, you need a catfish pellet with a higher protein content like the Hikari sinking carnivor pellets or JMC pellets.

Your pictus should also enjoy pieces of whitebait, shrimp live or dead and chopped mussel.

No they are in a orange package and are "specified" for carnivorious catfish....thnx for the replys...mussels huh...thnx for the help Cfc

I feed my pictus the carnivore pellets, chopped up canned shrimp, once a week some flakes, and guppies. I'd breed your own though if you plan on using them because most of the feeder guppies at the stores are kinda scrungy. Have fun.
