I ordered new, bigger containers for Red and Sunbeam, and perhaps this thread will help give myself (and anyone else setting up a new betta bowl) color scheme ideas!)
Here are some pics of mine:

And my blue fish.."Bluey" (I am so creative with fish names) He's my first betta, and he flutters his little fins at me whenever I walk by

I'm ordering bigger bowls for Red and Sunbeam, and I'd love to see your photos to get some design ideas

Heheh, yeah--He's doing well in it too! I think the solid back backing gives him a better sense of security. He was sulky when I brought him home but he's starting to perk up now
(Heehee, and I should clarify that it is a BROKEN coffee machine and the cord is cut )

There was a thread where we posted oodles of betta tank pics but it got HUGE.
Here's some of my tanks... a few of these have been stripped down and upgraded, etc. so some aren't intact anymore. I have gone all for the natural look now like this one: (I have taken the caves out of this tank cuz they didn't have enuf room, so now they just have a soft plant in each side:

This *was* Jack's tank - he now has none of that stuff in it... he has natural rocks, a clay pot thingy w/cracks in it that he swims in and out of, and cabomba plants.

and little Louis, my blind boy has this tank.. (i've since taken all the plants out cuz he kept getting pissed when he ran into them...

Lucky's new tank looks pretty much just like that one up there...
and so does Charlie's

Here are my tanks:

This is Tuggs - He is in a 1/2 gal.

This is Twist - (The plants are usually planted but got up rooted..) He is in a 1 gal.

This is Lucky - He is in a 1/2 gal.

This is Haze- He is in what I think to be a 1 gal. Does anyone know what it is?!

This is Calico - He is in a 1/2 gal but I will be upgrading him today to a 1 gal! I will post pictures when I get them of his 1 gal. It looks the same but its the bigger version!

This is the tank my female Emily is in - (this is an older pic of the tank - there are no angels in there!) It is a 10 gal.

Absolutley wonderful tanks everyone!
I am new and don't yet have a betta but I'm getting one in a few weeks and I might bid on this tank and if I get it 'll put white rock at the bottom.

i keep my bettas in 1 gallon ice cream tubs, they probably dont like not being able to see out of the sides, but they are enjoying the space working on an alternative tub to keep them in thogh, i dont like not being able to see them

I can't believe that prism is 3 gallons! It's really cute, but it looks like it holds less than a gallon. I guess pics are deceiving. I'm working on getting pics of my tanks.

Here's Siam's! It's a one gallon. This picture was taken about a week ago, so the water is filled higher now. The dark blue and bright green look really good with his red fins, especially right after the tank has been cleaned! (when the water's crystal clear)

Your bowl is beautiful, but you may want to make a cover for it. Mine managed to jump out a few days ago!
