Here's my 10 gallon aquarium. More plants and hide-outs have been added since this picture was taken, but it still looks generally the same.

Edit: Guess it helps if I add the pic, eh? :p

One of my prego Platys :) Pics a little unclear - I'm still figuring out exactly how my camera works and what settings are best for close-ups. BTW, the camera all of these pics were taken with is a Sony Cybershot DSC-S85.

IMO I think you could go up an inch or so in water level.....you are kinda running a 7 gallon there!!! lol! Your fish will love you for it!

The tanks look really good though!!!

If you're interested in seeing a bunch of my aquarium and fish pictures, there is now a directory of them on my website. They aren't all cropped and touched-up and 'nice-ified' but they're decent pics. I did some "special effects" pictures of my aquarium, using the solarize, b&w, and sepia features on my camera. Directory is at http://www.geocities.com/pamelakris/aquaria

Okey-dokey. After I did the water changes tonight I added some extra water. Now the water nearly goes up to the black rim on the 10 gallon and the teal rim on the five gallon. Thanks for the suggestion and the compliment!

Now I want another aquarium - first to aquascape and then to put fish in :D I don't think my b/f will go for that... Actually, if I had the money for it, he would be okay with it. It's that whole lack of money thing though... Darn private colleges having high tuition! :p Ah well...I met my dear b/f here and I like the place, so it's worth it. Plus, I have an RHD (res hall director) who is a fish person as well. She helps me out with my fishies  It's very nice.
