I did a search and I saw a few pics of it but I'd like to see some more. If anyone sees this and they have a bunch of the stuff take a pic and let me see it. I'm trying to envision what it will look like growing on my pottery. Thanks in advance.

No offence to your pottery, it looks very nice! But wouldnt you want to have a completely natural looking reef tank comprising of live-rock and corals as decor rather than pottery?

I have pictures of coraline algae on my tank but i think you'd find it hard to envision any of them as pottery.. Coraline looks great whatever it grows on and can make many objects (including your pot) look interesting over time (with fan worms and other growths amongst the coraline).

Here ya go....you can see it on the rocks, and the back glass too....

I should take a more recent pic as the coralline has spread even more.

No offense taken. I'm thinking about different applications for my pottery. I think it may be usefull for reef building. Ya know help give a reef some extra height without all the expensive LR. I wanted pics of corraline algae to see if the pottery would be covered and what it would look like. I'm just considering possibilities at this point. It seems to me that the way the coralline grows the pottery would be almost invisible if you piled LR around it and on it. Then you could have a nice tall reef. Keep in mind I know next to nothing about SW. How do you keep the LR from shifting for instance? It might also be usefull to build caves with. You could take a large vaselike piece and stick it in the sand a bit on it's side. Then pile LR on it until it's covered and wait for coralline algae to fill in any exposed bits. Then eels and such could have a safe hole to hide in without worries about LR falling on them... these are just thoughts. I don't personally think a SW tank setup to showcase my pottery would look very good. I think it would probably serve a better purpose in the background as well hidden as possible.
